Biological Nanotechnology

This website was developed for general audiences, as well as students and teachers. Along with text and illustrations describing nanotechnology in general and the MBNE in particular, the site utilizes animations, interactive virtual microscopes and detailed sidebars where you can learn about fundamental nanotechnology concepts including self-assembly (the spontaneous organization of parts to form an ordered whole) and biomimicry (the approach by which scientists identify and replicate successful processes and materials in nature).
