EPA Power Sector Analysis Using the Integrated Planning Model

While it is a fairly complicated and detailed presentation, this slideshow explains the use of an Integrated Planning Model in the application of cap and trade. The model provides least-cost solution to meeting electricity demand subject to environmental, transmission, fuel, reserve margin, and other system operating constraints.
