Residential Energy Consumption Survey (RECS)

The 2005 Residential Energy Consumption Survey Housing Characteristics data tables are now available. They include tabulations by housing unit, home ownership, household demographic and geographic characteristics. Additional data about televisions, personal computers and related equipment are included in new Home Electronics tables. The 2005 RECS also shows new information about Energy Star labeling, energy efficient lighting, window glazing and replacement, and programmable thermostats.
