This Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) site has a link to the Field Indicators of Hydric Soils in the United States. It is an Adobe Acrobat file which is 1.7MB. This updated version 5.01 from 2003 is avaliable with all of the text and graphics of the hard copy publication. It is an excellent overview of hydric soils as they relate to wetlands. A variety of other information regarding hydric soils is also available on this NRCS site.
