US EPA: Interstate Air Quality Rule

The EPA has proposed new air rules for reducing emissions of sulphur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and mercury for 29 eastern states and the District of Columbia. The proposal is directed at power generating plants, the primary producers of mercury and other fine particle ozone pollutants.
