Part of MIT's innovative OpenCourseWare Project, that provides materials from MIT classes to the public on the web, this site explores the concept of sustainable development and its consequences. The course examines both developed and developing countries, and major topics include the incentives and barriers to sustainability in economics, politics, culture, sociology, and other aspects of today's world.
