Research Partnerships for Sustainable Development

NCCR North-South focuses on international research cooperation with the aim of understanding the syndromes of global change and the pressures these syndromes and their causes exert on human, natural, and economic resources. It seeks to mitigate these syndromes by partnering with research institutions in developing and transition countries, and helping to find sustainable solutions with the means available in their own local contexts.
