Pacific Institute

Founded in 1987 and based in Oakland, California, the Pacific Institute provides independent research and policy analysis on issues that include water shortages, habitat destruction, global warming, and environmental terrorism. We conduct research, publish reports, recommend solutions, and work with decisionmakers, advocacy groups, and the public to change policy.
