This web-based simulation was developed by the Environmental energy Technologies Division of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. The simulation allows the participant to select a home, of various dimensions, in any location in the United States. Variables that influence energy use, such as insulation, appliances, energy sources, etc., can be manipulated to determine the potential change in energy costs.
