Characteristics of Public Entrepreneurship Networks - MIT Environmental Technology and Policy Program

Professor Larry Susskind at MIT has pioneered the concept of Public Entrepreneurship Networks. This theory illustrates how government interacts with non-governmental institutions (industry, community groups, researchers) in the development of policy on environment and sustainability. This site provides case studies of working networks, specifically around energy and local transportation projects. The case studies are distiguished by whether action was led by public or private actor.
